Voting System

Each competition platform will be staffed by three judges: one Front Judge and two Side Judges. In order to ensure a clear and rule-compliant judging of the attempts of the competition disciplines, each judge is assigned certain tasks.

Majority Voting System

To ensure fair, consistent, and rule-compliant judging, specific judging responsibilities are allocated to each judge. This approach helps minimise errors and provides a clear assessment process across all competition disciplines.

Streetlifting Australia utilises a majority voting system for selected movement standards. Under this system, a lift will be judged based on the decision of at least two of the three judges. The majority voting applies to the following criteria:

Dips

  • Shoulder depth

Squats

  • Knee lockout at the start and finish of the lift
  • Squat depth
